After a nice weekend of stomping around and chilling (lots of chilling), and even more Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, and RPG book reading, and contemplating my navel lint, and so on...
extraspecialk and I had a chat about Where Are We Going To Go after Los Angeles? Part of this has been an ongoing (albeit mute) dialogue of vacation/scouting trips to various locations in California. There is a very real possibility we'll be living in the bay area in a little over a year.
Which brings on the next point. That her and I will be traveling up the coast in a few weeks to visit some places, spend a bit of alone time together, and also visit some friends and potential living areas. Stops include Morrow Bay, Santa Cruz and the Bay Area. I am excited. I've never spent more than a few hours in San Francisco, so I am looking forward to exploring the City a bit while I am there. K and I will be hitting up the communities outside of San Francisco to check out possible nesting pads.
Its going to be very difficult to move away from the comfort zone, but I think it will be good for me to experience new places and new people. The big move is a bit of a distance off just yet, but I feel like time is short. Gonna try to pack in visits with my crew down here as much as I can the next few months. I am looking forward to the next iteration of my life
