Summary of this week:
BAKING. Lots of good baking, breads, cookies, etc. Well, just breads and cookies. Might try some muffins this weekend. Snickerdoodle muffins.
STAR WARS RPG. Picked up the recent release of Starships of the Galaxy. Its nice. Lots of fun, geeky star wars ship stats, and fun new rules for space combat. /geekon
FRIENDS. Had nice discussion today with one of my friends. He's depressed. He cussed at me a lot via IM. It was sad. I want him to get help, but he thinks there is no help to be found. I told him that getting angry at me is at least feeling something, and I'll be here if he needs to yell at someone, or just talk. It was sad.
THOUGHTS. Been thinking about new strategies to prevent myself from spending needlessly on various crap, mostly eating out. I even said no to a friend tonight regarding smoking a cigar (15 bucks). Its a small thing, but it is a step in the right direction. Basically told him I am strapped and he is strapped, and we should smoke when we have some extra cash after the holidays. Its good to get your friends on your team, as it were.
