Liv Tyler is crying like a baby. /whaaaaaaaambulance time for Aragorn and all the bad things that will happen to him. /whaaaaaaa
But that's okay! Because I am baking! Gingerbread! YEAH!
Saturday ==> Check out Barnes and Noble with k, and got my dad a gift for his birfday. Drove down that afternoon to deliver it, and hang with the folks for a few hours. I love my parents, but I can't understand why they are so... so... Republican. They quote old sayings like "Teach a man to fish and he'll never go hungry." But... they don't realize that nobody in politics even thinks that anymore. I digress. Great people, but sometimes I want to get a copy of the bill of rights for them, and read how politicians have been trampling on it since post WWII.
Saturday night, however, I came back to LA, snagged up Kirsten and set out for a movie. The Golden Compass. I wasn't expecting anything frankly. It was wonderful. Nicely paced, and lots of fun. And the little girl that played the lead was very well cast. Definitely worth the 10 bucks admission, and I'll be anticipating the sequel.
Sunday ==> Brunch this AM cooked by me. Eggs, sausage, toast = yum. Lots of shopping, most of it for various baking needs, which will be magically transformed into yummy xmoose presents. So, gingerbread is cooling, ol' Kingy de Rohan is about to get all crazy on some orc arse. Time for me to end this post.
